The Stone Church and Meetinghouse, also known as The Hill Church, is overseen by the First Ecclesiastical Society of New Preston, a nonsectarian, nonprofit membership organization run by a Board of Trustees. All are welcome to join. Traditionally, the Board met annually. But during the past year, the Trustees have been meeting monthly, to address the myriad needs of the building, including restoration and maintenance; the preservation and cataloguing of our archives; programming events; and so on. Members of the Society— and guests— are urged to attend the annual meeting, held in September. And volunteers are always welcomed!
